  • Teacher: Ms. Ragsdale

We love the Earth, but what is the science behind living on this blue planet? In this class we will look at science projects and lessons with an eco-theme. How do plants help us breathe, how can we filter and clean water, and how do plants, animals, and minerals come together to create a happy planet? These are some questions we will be exploring while building little biospheres and other fun projects. If you love the Earth, you’ll love this class!

  • Teacher: Ms. Volk

Being outside playing in the fresh air is both fun and beneficial for kids. Outdoor yard games will combine structured and unstructured play fostering gross motor development, social skills, strength, coordination, and fun! We will learn and play multiple tag games, ball games, hula hoop games/challenges, and relays, among others.

If there's a problem, we'll solve it! For this class, we will explore the math behind some of our favorite activities. We will build a glow-in-the-dark city, build ramps to race, learn about venn diagrams and human traits, use wax sticks to trace ourselves, build shapes, and more! This club makes math FUN with games and hands-on activities. Take this class again or come for the first time!

Ok, we know entomology is the real word, but isn’t bugology more fun to say? In this class, students will learn the buzz about bugs. Bee there or bee square!

  • Teacher: Ms.Volk

Each week we will create a new project with clay. We will begin by learning the basics of clay, such as rolling, coiling, and pinching. Gradually we will expand on what we have learned to create fun projects. We will make pots, jewelry, figures, and more. We will even learn how to make our own clay!

  • Teacher: Ms.Ragsdale

What is an engineer? What do they do? In this class we will put the tools of engineers into practice. Using the Engineering Design Process, we will study and plan a variety of hands-on projects with basic concepts that introduce a world of building and inventing. Straw rockets, paper towers, tiny catapults, and tinkering with building materials, this class is perfect for new or returning engineers.

  • Teacher: Ms.Elton

Get ready to move with Ms.Elton! Along with her summer camp and cheer experience, she’ll be bringin’ the tunes. Students in this class will learn fun dance moves and choreography.
